He was cleared to run for President after a court set aside a bankruptcy order.
-The United Democratic Party (UDP) candidate was among eight candidates gazetted by the electoral commission to run for President after the court set aside a bankruptcy order against him.-Low voter turnout was recorded in Cyrus Jirongo's home area.The polling station has 694 registered voters and only 82 people voted.
The candidate did not show up to vote.
