Why Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not Attend Uhuru’s Swearing in at Kasarani
- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu did not attend President Uhuru Kenyatta's inauguration at the Moi International Sports Complex Kasarani on Tuesday.
- According to Israeli media, Mr Netanyahu did not attend the swearing in because of security concerns that had been raised earlier.
“Rather, after landing in the morning and being received in an official ceremony, Netanyahu is scheduled to take part in an event at the Presidential palace, where he will have a joint meeting with some 10 African leaders,” Jerusalem Post wrote.
- The country also indicated that Netanyahu was expected to be in the country for a few hours before jetting back home.
