Manchester City extended their winning streak to 14 games and took an 11-point lead at the top of the Premier League after goals from David Silva and Nicolas Otamendi sealed a huge win over Manchester United. David Silva gave the visitors the lead after pouncing on a loose ball following a corner. Marcus Rashford leveled it up on the stroke of half-time, but Otamendi regained the lead in the second half in similar circumstances to Silva's opener. Ederson was forced to make a remarkable double save from Romelu Lukaku and Juan Mata in the final 10 minutes to keep City in front, but in truth Pep Guardiola's men leave Old Trafford as deserved winners.
