KENYA-Government declares October 26 public holiday #ElectionKE
- This comes even as the opposition team led by Raila Odinga maintains there will be no election on October 26.
- The government has gazetted October 26 as a public holiday to allow Kenyans participate in repeat presidential poll.
- Acting Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiangi notified the public of the holiday to allow fresh election.
